SIKESTON - Phyllis Ann Freeman, 56, died at 11:55 a.m. July 31, 2006, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
Born Feb. 11, 1950, in Pottsville, Ark., to the late Ray and Jewell Kesler Vick, she was a member of the Heartland Harvest Church of God of Prophecy in Sikeston. She had worked for Venture Products in Oran for six years, and as a tractor-trailer truck driver, licensed beautician and a nurses assistant at several nursing homes.
On Jan. 1, 1970, in Russellville, Ark., she married Larry R. Freeman, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons and one daughter-in-law, Donald and Patricia Freeman of Benton and Shawn Freeman of Sikeston; two daughters, Tina Allen of Sikeston and Melissa Freeman of Redwood Falls, Minn.; one sister, Mary Grigsby of Russellville; and five grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Clifford Freeman.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Bill Gadberry of Morley will officiate.
Burial will follow at 1 p.m. in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
