Born Jan. 28, 1920, in Hernando, Miss. to the late Sylvester and Daisy Clark Reed, she was a homemaker and caretaker. In July 1941, she married James E. Wade, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Horace Cobb of New Madrid; two grandchildren, Bernard Patterson of New Madrid and Rosie Marie Lifter of Sikeston; and six stepchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 15 great-
great-grandchildren, two great-great-great-grandchildren, and two special friends, Linda Sue Neal and Sammie Robinson.
She was preceded in death by 16 brothers and sisters, one great-grandson, one stepson and one step-granddaughter.
Visitation is at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid, with services following at 1 p.m. The Rev. L.L. Williams will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in New Madrid.
