Born Jan. 3, 1938, in Truman, Ark., to the late Robert E. Lee and Ruby Augustine Rollins Parker, he was the former police chief of Risco and a U.S. Navy veteran. On June 15, 1959, in Tulot Ark., he married Edna Ruthie May Maclin, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: four sons, Robert Parker of Marion, Ark., David Parker of Norfork, Ark., Donald Parker of Campbell and Randall Parker of Pontiac, Mich.; three daughters, Mary Landers of Risco, Libby Wilson of Catron, and Ruth Matlock of Bell City; one brother, Alfred Parker of Sawyer, Mich.; two sisters, Dorothy Vonruedisch of Fisk and Florence Monehan of Dexter; and 19 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were: three brothers, G.R. Parker, Jimmy Parker and Jesse Parker; one sister, Mary Louise Lung; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 6 p.m. tonight at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Rosewood Cemetery in Malden. The Rev. Richard Blagg will officiate.
