The Great River Soy Processing Plant

LILBOURN - The Great River Soy Processing plant is rapidly taking shape in Lilbourn.

Tom Pulliam with Process Concepts, the project's general contractor, said he expected the tanks to arrive by this weekend with more equipment to fill the main building to arrive over the next few weeks. Construction is expected to be complete by late spring, he added.

When complete, the Great River Soy Processing Plant will produce B100-

biodiesel from chicken fat and soybean oil with a biodiesel module which was fabricated in Stuttgart, Ark.

The biodiesel module produces the B100 from liquid chicken fat (or other animal fat) and soyoil in a totally enclosed system. There will be no water, other liquids or dust emitted into the air or on the ground from this processing technology and the noise level will be low since electric motors circulate the liquids, according to developers.
