BLOOMFIELD - Cody Dewayne Boone, 16, died Oct. 2, 2006, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Bloomfield.
Born Jan. 28, 1990, at Poplar Bluff, son of Steve and Kimberly Marvel Cornell of Dexter, he had been a resident of Bloomfield for the past eight years and was a sophomore at Bloomfield High School.
In addition to his parents, survivors include: four brothers, Brandon Marvel, Colton Cornell and Caden Cornell of the home and Seth Walters of Bernie; one sister, Madalyne Cornell of the home; his maternal grandparents, Larry and Wanda Marvel of Bloomfield; his paternal grandfather, David Jerald Cornell of Holcomb; and many relatives and friends.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday.
Burial will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
