Lizabeth Albritton

SIKESTON -- Lizabeth A. Britton, 64, formerly of Mayfield, Ky., died at 5:17 a.m. July 19, 2007, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born Aug. 30, 1942, at Paducah, Ky., daughter of the late Richard and Joy Copeland Jones, she was a 1961 graduate of Mayfield High School, graduated from Murray School of Nursing as a GLPN, and worked in nursing for 25 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mayfield.

On May 6, 1961, in Cairo, Ill., she married Jerry R. Albritton Sr. who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Jerry R. Albritton Jr. of Charleston and Troy M. Albritton of Sikeston; two brothers, David T. Jones of Paducah and Billy Dublin of Mayfield; one sister, Carol Ann Holmes of Paducah; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation is scheduled for 5-8 p.m. today at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield where services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday.

Burial will follow in the Mayfield Memory Gardens in Mayfield.
