POPLAR BLUFF - Misti Daun Pitkin, 30, formerly of Matthews, died May 29, 2007, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Born Feb. 17, 1977, in Baytown, Texas, daughter of Kerry Pitkin of Hartstown, Penn., and Debbie Morgan Day of Kaysville, Utah, she had lived in Matthews for many years and moved to Poplar Bluff three years ago. She was a cook at Huddle House in Poplar Bluff.
Survivors in addition to her parents include: a stepfather, Zane Day of Kaysville; two sons, Russell Evan Booker III of Cape Girardeau and Donald Hart of Matthews; one daughter, Deanna Hart of Matthews; two brothers, Kyle Day of Kaysville and Brock Day of Peoria, Ariz.; and seven sisters, Amanda Pitkin of Phoenix, Vanessa Paulino of Peoria, Shawnda Joslin of Dexter, Brittany Day of Layton, Utah, Christina Pitkin of Hartstown, and Airyn LeFevre and Alyx Day, both of Kaysville.
Burial will be in Kaysville Cemetery in Kaysville at a later date.
Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter is in charge of local arrangements.
