Blaze setting tourneys on fire

The Bootheel Blaze 8-and-under traveling baseball team recently competed with 11 other teams at Draffenville, Ky., in the Back-to-School Bash Tournament, Aug. 3-5. The Blaze went undefeated to claim the championship first place trophy.

The Bootheel 8-year-olds have played in the championship bracket of every tournament they have been in this summer.
