ANTELOPE, Calif. -- Helen Glascock Moore, 92, formerly of Portageville, Mo., died Feb. 4, 2008.
Born Aug. 13, 1915, in Wynnberg, Tenn., to the late Bennie B. and Maggie Locke Glascock, she lived in Portageville until 2002, when she moved to California to live with her daughter. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Portageville for many years.
On Feb. 11, 1933, in New Madrid, Mo., she married Jodie A. Moore, who died in 2002.
Five sisters and three brothers also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Denny Walsh of Antelope; one brother, Reeder Nunnery of Huntsville, Ala.; one sister, Betty Jean Rich of Goreville, Ill.; one grandson and two great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Shelia Glastetter.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville. Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Buck Morton officiating.
Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
