HOWARDVILLE -- Dalton "Cowboy" Lawson, 71, died Dec. 22, 2006 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born May 6, 1935, in Corinth, Miss., son of the late Adam and Ruth Brown Lawson, he was a self-employed car dealer for over 40 years.

His wife of many years, Linda Williams Lawson, survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Scott Lawson of Howardville; four daughters, Judy Williams of Matthews, Rita Shastrand of Poplar Bluff, Carolyn McNeal of Springfield and Elania Pfister of St. Louis; and 11 grandchildren and three great-

grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ponder Funeral Home in Lilbourn, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Travis Lambert, pastor of General Baptist Church in Lilbourn, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Mounds Cemetery near Lilbourn.

Pallbearers will be: Corey Williams, Billy Williams, Richard Collins, Mikey Williams, Brian Williams and Eric Lawson.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Mark Williams and Daniel Buskey.
