DUDLEY -- Shirley Ann Fowler Davidson, 71, died Aug. 8, 2007, at her home.
Born Feb. 1, 1936, at Ash Hill, daughter of the late John Everett and Nancy Wade Joiner, she was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene at Dexter. She was the former operator of the Dexter Bus Station and had worked as a certified nursing assistant with the Vintage Villa Nursing Center and the Dexter Nursing Center.
On March 21, 1998, at Saucier, Miss., she married David Wilburn Davidson who preceded her in death on June 12, 2003.
Three brothers, Glenn W. Joiner, J.B. Joiner and John Joiner; and two sisters, Gladys Traynor and Betty Gamel, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Cissy and Benjamin Rushing of Dudley; one brother, Drexel Joiner of Warren, Mich.; three sisters, Shelby Kincy of Glen Carbon, Ill., and Opal Gauthier and Audrey Wiltfong of Flint, Mich.; and two grandsons.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Roger Wooten will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
