PARMA -- Gary M. Rowland Sr., 58, died Oct. 3, 2006, near Matthews.
Born April 10, 1948, in Parma, son of the late Joseph H. and Artie A. Bullman Rowland, he had lived most of his life in Parma where he was a member of the First Baptist Church. A U.S. Army National Guard veteran, he was retired from Noranda Aluminum where he had worked for 29 years. He was currently employed with Monsanto Seed Company in Matthews.
Survivors include: three sons, Gary Max Rowland Jr. of St. Louis, Brian Keith Rowland of Campbell and Jacob Kristopher Rowland of Memphis, Tenn.; one brother, Danny A. Rowland of Dexter; three sisters, Jane Evelyn Campbell and Marilyn Jeanette Ludwig of Parma and Shirley Ann Corn of Texas; and one grandson, Ben M. Rowland.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Lelon Rowland.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. today at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma where services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Randy Thomas of Sikeston officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
