BLOOMFIELD - Two Stoddard County teens were killed and another seriously injured in a one-car accident Monday afternoon near Bloomfield.
At 4:25 p.m. Kendall L. Pullum, 16, was driving east on Route J, one mile west of Bloomfield, when his truck ran off the right side of the road. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report Pullum over-corrected causing his vehicle to run off the left side of the road then strike a tree.
The vehicle overturned ejecting Pullum and his passengers.
Pullum sustained serious injuries and was taken by air evac to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. A passenger, Cody D. Boone, 16, of Dexter was pronounced dead at the scene. A second passenger, Christopher L. Daniels, 16, of Bloomfield, was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at Dexter Hospital after being transported by ambulance.

Two New Madrid County residents were injured early Monday near Sikeston.
The accident occurred at 7:30 a.m. on U.S. Highway 61, four miles south of Sikeston when a northbound vehicle driven by Linda Rogers, 53, of New Madrid crossed the center line and struck a southbound vehicle driven by Joseph D. Doty, 26, of St. Louis.
Rogers, who was seriously injured, was taken by EMS to Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Doty sustained serious injuries. His passenger, Wanita A Mays, 21, of Kewanee, was moderately injured. Both were taken by EMS to Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Three Mississippi County residents were injured at 4:50 p.m. Saturday Highway 80 at East Prairie city limits when a northbound car driven by Jennifer R. Edwards, 22, of East Prairie pulled into the path of a westbound vehicle driven by Martha L. Brown, 61, of East Prairie.
Brown was transported by ambulance to Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston where she was treated for minor injuries. Edwards sustained minor injuries and was taken by private vehicle to Missouri Delta Medical Center. Edwards' passenger, Ashli R. Blasingain, 14, was taken by ambulance to Missouri Delta Medical Center where she was treated for minor injuries.
A Mississippi County resident sustained serious injuries in a one car accident near East Prairie.
Kimberly A. Gephart was westbound at 11:06 a.m. Saturday on Highway 80, five miles west of East Prairie, when her vehicle off the right side of the road. Gephart over-corrected causing the vehicle to run off the left side of the road and overturned. She was taken by air evac to St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
A Bollinger County resident was injured in a one-car accident Sunday afternoon.
The accident occurred at 12:30 p.m. on Highway 91, five miles north of Advance as Melissa G. Chiles, 28, was driving south and lost control of her vehicle. The vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and overturned in a ditch.
Chiles was transported by ambulance to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau where she was treated for minor injuries.
