Speakout 7/11

Tuesday, July 11, 2006

I think you had some good pieces in SpeakOut today Mike Jensen. I hope you keep up the good work. Ol' Dan Rather got just what he deserved. And Mike, I hope you run for President. You'd sure be a good one. And besides that, Dan Rather did everything he could against Bush, lied on him and he's always down on the Democrats. Look what he did to the old Bush when he interviewed him. He tried to be smart with him. I thought that was good what that guy put in there about the Democrats. They don't do nothing but sit around and gripe and keep the world in more trouble than what it is in. If they would try to go along with Bush things would be a lot better. And that piece in there about people having babies and the taxpayers having to raise them, I tell you if the government would cut out a lot of this welfare and this free stuff for all these people that are able to work, this world would be a lot better off.

I asked for something to be printed in your SpeakOut column several days ago and it was clean with no bad language. Now I'm seeing SpeakOut verses from people who wrote in after me. What's going on? Are you not going to print mine for the simple fact I think you're an idiot and a hypocrite? If so, that's fine with me. By the time you get around to doing your job, it's old news anyway. I'm gonna delete this piece of &%#@ Web site.

I just wanted to thank all the stations down in Matthews for keeping their gas under $2.60 when everybody in Sikeston, Charleston, Benton and everywhere else could do the same. I just want to put out a big thank you to those places and everything. Thank you so much.

I would love to give away a treadmill. Call me at 472-1946. Thank you.

I want to ask how long does it take for a man to be president before he gets credit for being in there? In November, Bush will be in there for six years. In 2008, he will go out. For the last six years, since 2000, we have had a Republican Congress. It's not Democrats, it's not Bill Clinton. It's all the Republicans' fault. If you had a brain, you'd be smart. The reason we are in such bad shape is because we have a hypocrite, Republican President in that don't care for the poor people. All he knows how to do is rob from the poor and give to the rich. If you tell me that's not true, read the Bible that tells you not to follow the people that are always rich. He takes away from the people that are poor and gives to the people over in Iraq. I want you to print this.

We don't need to hear thunder and lightning tonight for this boom, boom boom of fireworks going off after 10 o'clock. What's wrong with these people around here? Why isn't the noise ordinance being enforced? Maybe some of these people don't have to get up and go to work, but we do. I think something should be done next year.
