LILBOURN - Andrew Thomas, 81, died April 11, 2007, at his home.
Born Sept. 25, 1925, in Yarbro, Ark., to the late Percy and Autro Bell Thomas Sr., he lived for over 50 years in Missouri. He graduated from O'Bannon High School in Lilbourn, was a United States Army veteran of World War II and a member of VFW Post No. 7183 of Lilbourn.
On Dec. 4, 1954, he married Clemetine Terry, who preceded him in death Dec. 15, 1999.
Two sons and five brothers also preceded him in death.
Survivors include: four sons and one daughter-in-law, Andrew Thomas Jr. of Lilbourn, Duane and Rane Thomas of Palestine, Texas, John Henry Thomas of the state of California and Travis Thomas of the state of Texas; seven daughters and five sons-in-law, Evelyn and Robert Pulliam of Kennett, Ruth and Willie Thomas of Lilbourn, Elouis and James Hudson of Cape Girardeau, Vickie Elaine and Walter Adams of Jefferson City, Dorothy Rhone Compton of the state of California and Barbara and Anthony Criglar and Brenda McDaniels of Malden; and 22 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of services at noon Saturday at the House of Deliverance Church of God in Christ in Portageville. Bishop Charlie Green Jr. will officiate.
Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in New Madrid with full military honors conducted by VFW Post No. 7183.
Williams Funeral Home of Howardville is in charge of arrangements.
