SIKESTON -- Pamela Lynn Holland Alcorn and Robert Wayne Jones of Sikeston have announced their engagement.

A 1982 graduate of New Madrid County Central High School, the future bride is employed with Good Humor-Breyers--Unilever. She is the daughter of the late Jerry Pressly Holland and Virginia Ruth Holland.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Robert Lee and Sharon Kay Jones of Sikeston. A 1985 graduate of Sikeston High School, he is also employed with Good Humor-Breyers-Unilever.

Plans are being finalized for an Aug. 6 wedding.
