Williams - Dixon

EAST PRAIRIE -- The Revs. Melvin and Bridgett Williams have announced the engagement of their daughter, Nichole Renuta Williams, to Erick Dixon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Dixon of Augusta, Ga.

The future bride graduated with a bachelor's degree in science and television video production in 2004 from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau and is an adviser at American InterContinental University in Dunway, Ga. She will graduate in December from AIU with a master's degree in information technology and will be pursuing a Ph.D. beginning in January. She is the granddaughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Roosevelt Johnson of Haywood City and Mr. and Mrs. George Williams of Pinhook.

The prospective bridegroom is a 1997 graduate of Atlanta High School and graduated in 2004 from South Carolina State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He is employed with Primerica Financial Consultants in Dunway.

Family and friends are invited to attend the 2:30 p.m. ceremony Aug. 5 at the Ollie Grove Baptist Church in Wyatt. A reception will follow at the Best Western in Sikeston.
