Local salon adds three to its staff

SIKESTON - High Definitions, a salon located at 2317 E. Malone Ave., has expanded, adding three new staff members recently. Joining the salon are stylists Kathy Spain and Rhonda Nolen and massage therapist Shana Wadlington.

A resident of Bertrand, Nolen is a 1991 graduate of Mr. Bill's School of Cosmetology. At High Definitions, she specializes in weaves, colors, perms, hair cuts and styles, manicures and pedicures.

Nolen, who joined the staff in May, begins accepting appointments at 9 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday with walk-in clients welcomed.

Also joining the staff in May, Spain is a Sikeston resident and graduated from Evans School of Cosmetology in 1991. Her specialities include weaves, color, perms, cutting and styling.

Spain begins accepting appointments at 10 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Walk-in clients are welcome, she said.

A 2004 graduate of Cape Central High School, Wadlington was licensed as a massage therapist after completing the massage therapy program at Metro Business College graduating in May 2005. She offers a range of massages at High Definition by appointment including sports massage, Swedish massage, hot stone massage, deep tissue massage, prenatal massage, reflexology (a foot massage), facial massage and chair massage. Also available is ear candling.
