O'FALLON -- Alberta Alene Trout, 74, formerly of Puxico and Bloomfield, died Dec. 10, 2007, at St. Joseph's West Medical Center in Lake St. Louis.

Born March 26, 1933, near Bell City, daughter of the late Andrew Jasper and Opal Fowler Stewart, she had made her home in O'Fallon for the past seven years. Prior to moving, she had worked as a CNA at the Beverly Health and Rehab Center in Bloomfield and had done private care.

On Feb. 23, 1951, in Piggott, Ark., she married Beril Trout, who preceded her in death on Dec. 26, 1996.

Four brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Anita Trout of Puxico and Dwayne and Beverly Trout of O'Fallon; one daughter and son-in-

law, Barbara and Jeremy Willcut of Puxico; two brothers, Donald Stewart of Sikeston and Melvin Stewart of St. Louis; five sisters, Margaret Barnes of Jefferson City, Patricia Gallamore of Beloit, Wisc., Carolyn Casey of Dexter, Connie Grady of Benton and Effie Hughes of Morehouse; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, where services are scheduled or 1 p.m. Thursday. WIlliam Webster of Poplar Bluff will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Puxico Cemetery.
