LILBOURN - Perry Ray Jr., 51, died Oct. 27, 2006, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Lilbourn.
Born March 16, 1955, in Invernest, Miss., to the late Perry and Josie A. Ray Sr., he had lived in Missouri for 32 years. He was a 1974 graduate of Lilbourn High School, was employed for 31 years at Noranda Aluminum in New Madrid and was a member and minister at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Lilbourn.
Survivors include: three sons, Terrence Ray Hamilton and Delano Porter of Malden and Demarhus Ray Shawn Hamilton of St. Louis; one daughter, Renita S. Hamilton of St. Louis; two brothers, Sylvester Ray and Charles Ray of Invernest; two sisters, Brenda Ray and Sylvia Ray of Invernest; two grandchildren; and a special friend, Vernitta Hamilton of Howardville.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Lilbourn.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Water of Life Church in Howardville with the Rev. Earnest Willis officiating.
Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery at New Madrid.
