CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Pauline "Polly" Gray Hill, 92, formerly of Sikeston, died March 16, 2007, at the home of her daughter in Cape Girardeau.
Born March 11, 1915, in Sikeston, she was the daughter of the late John and May Trent Gray. She attended Cape First church and had lived in St. Louis for 40 years working at Three Sisters and Velvet Freeze. She returned to Sikeston in 1976 and worked at Kirby's with her brother-in-law, Red Kirby.
In 1938, she married Herbert Hill who preceded her in death on Dec. 11, 1956.
Also preceding her in death were one daughter, four sisters, one brother, two half-sisters and two half-brothers.
Survivors include: one daughter, Barbara Hill of Cape Girardeau; one grandson and his wife, Stephen and Judy Hill of Cape Girardeau; and two great-
grandchildren, Andrea Hill and Michael Hill of Cape Girardeau.
Visitation is from 5 p.m. until time of services at 7 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. Charles Lance, pastoral care minister of Cape First, will officiate.
Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Laurel Hills Memorial Gardens in St. Louis.
