PARAGOULD, Ark. - Jim Daniels, 63, formerly of Dexter, Mo., died March 17, 2007, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born Sept. 11, 1943, in Clarksville, son of the late Leonard and Isabelle Henderson Daniels, he had lived the last 14 years in Paragould and was of the protestant belief.
On Jan. 10, 1962, in Grayridge, Mo., he married Evelyn Wells, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: five sons, James Daniels Jr. of Apopka, Fla., Rick Daniels, Steve Daniels, Bobby Daniels and Clifford Daniels of Paragould; one daughter, Rebecca Daniels of Paragould; three brothers, Clinton Daniels of Sikeston, Mo., Verlis Daniels of McNeill, Miss. and Alvie Daniels of Lafe; sevens sisters, Wanda Maddox of Chaffee, Mo., Oleta Whitley of Morehouse, Mo., Lela Rushing and Karen Ramsey of Essex, Mo., Ruth Swope of Warrensburg, Mo. and Mary Roberts and Janet Gallo of St. Louis, Mo.; and nine grandchildren, seven stepgrandchildren and 16 foster children.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home at Dexter. The Rev. Francis Gamble of Earl will officiate.
Burail will follow in the New Morley Cemetery in Morley, Mo.
