Weekend fishing

Fishing was a familiar sight over the weekend as several angling events were held. Left: Sportsmen came from throughout Missouri as well as Kentucky, Tennessee, Illinois, Kansas, Arkansas and Mississippi to compete in the third annual Cabela's King Kat Classic at New Madrid. An even larger group showed up at the New Madrid levee Saturday afternoon as the fishermen brought in their catch to be weighed.
