Eugene Musgrave

CHAFFEE - Eugene Musgrave, 64, died April 4, 2006, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born Aug. 12, 1941, at Baderville, son of Clem C. and Daisy Mae Taylor Page Musgrave, he retired after 22 years as a driver and mechanic at McCrate Equipment Co. in Portageville. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church of Chaffee, the Knights of Columbus Council 4311 of Oran, Sikeston Order of Eagles and St. Ambrose Men's Club.

On May 1, 1970, he married Clarene Williams who preceded him in death on Aug. 13, 1998.

Two sisters also preceded him in death.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Aleshia Musgrave of Chaffee; three daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and James Carver of Portageville, Darlis and George Batey of Wylie, Texas, and Crystal and Kelley Swain of Chaffee; grandchildren, Anthony Jr., Gene, Lindsey, Tyler Musgrave, Kylie and Cassidy Swain of Chaffee, Veronica Batey of Texas, James Dylan Carver of Portageville; great-grandchild, Caedyn Musgrave of Chaffee; six brothers, Harold Page of Lakeview, Ohio, Leroy Musgrave, David Musgrave and James Musgrave, all of Portageville, Earnie Musgrave of House Springs and Stephen Musgrave of Gideon; nine sisters, Velina Doster of Antwerp, Ohio, Barbara Propst, Eve Powell, Janie Fornkohl, all of Cape Girardeau, Patsy Biri of Jackson, Venita Noah of Shawneetown, Sandra Froman of Zalma, Irma Graham of Portageville and Martha Mansfield of Foley, Ala.

Visitation is after 4 p.m. today with parish prayers at 6:30 p.m. at the Amick-

Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee, with the Rev. Ralph Duffner officiating.

Burial will follow in Union Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: James Musgrave, Stephen Musgrave, Earnie Musgrave, Anthony Musgrave Jr., Gene Musgrave, Tyler Musgrave and Harold Page.
