DEXTER - Louis Amel Frank, 85, died April 13, 2007, at the John J. Pershing V.A. Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
Born Feb. 23, 1922, in Dexter, to the late Fredrick Claud and Anzel Ringham Frank, he lived his entire life in the Dexter area. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during World War II and had been a 60-year member of the American Legion where he served in many offices.
On Feb. 14, 1946, in Risco, he married Eva McCormick, who preceded him in death on March 6, 1996.
One grandson, Scott Edward Casey, also preceded him in death.
Survivors include: one daughter, Mary Alice Casey of Dexter; one sister, Ellen Watson of Dexter; and four grandchildren, two nephews and one niece.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Gerald King of Puxico will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Caroline-Dowdy Cemetery near Dexter.
