Braden - Sheeks

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa -- Derek and Kathy Braden of West Des Moines have announced the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Ashley Braden, to Timothy Richard Sheeks, son of Mike and Susan Sheeks of Bondurant.

The future bride is the granddaughter of John and Shirley Braden of Sikeston, Mo., and the late Brice and Barbara Carroll. She is also the great-granddaughter of Esther Nanney of Sikeston.

Plans are being finalized for a May 26 wedding at the Temple For Performing Arts in Des Moines.
