PARMA - Charles Calcutt, 71, died April 14, 2007, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.
Born June 29, 1935, in Batesville, Miss., to the late George Fondren and Lena Calcutt, he was affiliated with the Church on the Rock at Morehouse.
On Aug. 8, 1984, in St. Louis, he married Martha Bills, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: three sons, Bernard Sykes and Alonzo Sykes of E. St. Louis, Ill. and Fernando Calcutt of Centralia, Ill.; seven daughters and two sons-
in-law, Charlene Robinson, Consqiulla Calcutt, Terranezillie Calcutt and Veronica Nelson of E. St. Louis, Brenda Bills of Portageville, Lisa and Willie Johnson of Sikeston and Melinda and James Howell of Parma; six brothers, George Fondren, Russell Fondren and Wesley Butler of Batesville, Miss., David Fondren and Jack Fondren of Memphis, Tenn. and Mike Fondren of New Orleans; eight sisters, Mary Fondren of Batesville, Barbara Tarham of Greenville, Miss., Earmie Sullivan of Lakewell, Fla., Louise Brown, Katie Bonner, Freida Bills and Mary Louise Jemerson of Parma and Marie Bills of Gary, Ind.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Timmie Bills and Ronnie Bills; and one sister, Katherine Fondren.
Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at Macedonia Cemetery in Malden with Willie Johnson officiating.
