CRYSTAL CITY -- Lillian Opel Marie Bratcher, 73, died Jan. 16, 2008, at the Fountainbleau Nursing Home in Crystal City.

Born June 8, 1934, in Cadet, to the late Franklin Taylor and Mary Elizabeth Evans Barton, she had lived most of her life in the Parma and Catron areas. She was a member of the Eastern Star and of the Baptist belief.

On Oct. 2, 1962, in St. Louis, she married Joe David Bratcher who preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 2004.

Also preceding her in death were one daughter, Brenda Hubbard; one stepdaughter, Carol Ann Earnhart; and one sister, Maxine Sims.

Survivors include: one stepson, David Bratcher of Dexter; 10 daughters, Karen Keown of Madisonville, Ky., Rose Berend of Arnold, Kathy Goad of the state of Illinois, Anita Watkins of Festus, Mary Hunt of New Madrid, Millie Ghattas of Imperial, Estella Bates of Tampa, Fla., Barbara Lynn of Valley Park, Melinda Wheeler of Dittmer and Bertha Sherritze of Parma; two stepdaughters, Kathy Clark of Malden and Sharon Dellinger of Lincoln, Ill.; six brothers, Chad Barton, J.R. Barton and Wayne Barton of St. Louis, Donald Barton of the state of Virginia, Johnny Barton of Peru, Ind., and Buddy Barton of the state of South Carolina; one sister, Melinda McMillian of St. Peters; and 40 grandchildren and 42 great-

grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. today at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma where services will be conducted at noon Saturday. Mark Powell of Risco will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Parma Cemetery.
