COLUMBIA -- Blaire Rosamond Leible and Ryan Vincent Garwitz were united in holy matrimony June 24, 2006, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Columbia. The Rev. Phil Niekamp officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Leible of Sikeston, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Garwitz of St. Peters.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless corset-back matte satin gown in diamond white by Maggie Sottero. The gown was a one-piece strapless full A-line with inverted pleats beginning at the waistline and embellished with Swarovski crystals, bugle beads, seed beads and sequins.

Her semi-cathedral train was also trimmed in Swarovski crystals and matching beading. Her headdress consisted of a crystal tiara with a finger-tip veil edged with crystals and beading. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of light pink and white roses.

Serving her sister as maid of honor was Lindsay Leible of Columbia. Bridesmaids were Sarah Colwick of Kansas City, Bridget Garwitz, sister of the bridegroom, and Jessica Schlosser, both of Columbia, Emily Borgsmiller of New York City and Sarah Muenks of Jefferson City. The bridesmaids wore identical tea-length gowns in ice pink and dusty rose by Bari Jay made of Jolie satin and trimmed at the bodice and hem with organza. They carried hand-

tied bouquets of miniature button mums, hyacinths and kalanchoe in shades of pink.

Best man was Rob Garwitz, brother of the bridegroom, of Columbia. Groomsmen were Dustin Kramer of St. Charles, Chad Maender of Los Angeles, Michael Benner of Green Bay, Wis., and Bill Johnson and Craig Sherwood both of St. Louis. Ushers were Clyde Kirby of Columbia, Ryan Regan and Dave Gerrie of St. Louis and Paul Kenney of Redondo Beach, Calif. The men wore tuxedos with black vests and black Windsor ties by Ralph Lauren. The bridegroom wore a black tuxedo with a silver vest and silver Windsor tie also by Ralph Lauren.

Guest book attendants were Ellie Miller of Blaine, Minn., and Rebecca Rone of Columbia. Program attendant was Brooke Jackson of St. Louis.

Providing music for the occasion was organist Dr. Larry Bohannon of Sikeston and vocalist Mary Katherine Branum of Charleston. Procession coordinators were Mr. and Mrs. Tom Nunnelee of Sikeston.

Immediately following the ceremony, a dinner reception and dance was held at the Reynolds Alumni Center in Columbia. Music was provided by Aaron Rose and jazz pianist Tom Andes, both of Columbia.

A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the bridegroom's parents June 23 at Grand Cru restaurant in Columbia followed by a wine reception at the Marriott Courtyard Varsity Room hosted by the bride's parents.

A bridesmaid's luncheon was hosted June 23 by Joey Bagby, Mary Katherine Branum and Mary Ann DeLine at The Upper Crust restaurant in Columbia.

The couple were honored with a cocktail buffet March 11 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Boyer of Sikeston. The buffet was also hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Philip Boyer, Mr. and Mrs. David Crader, Mr. and Mrs. John Fuchs, Mr. and Mrs. Alan Keenan, Mr. and Mrs. David Lape, Dr. and Mrs. John Leible, Mr. and Mrs. Clay Shelby and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Story.

A bridal shower was given for the bride March 11 at the home of Lisa Colwick. The shower was hosted by Lisa Colwick, Jackie Gardner, Karen Ziegenhorn, Ann Jones, Beth Marshall, Sharon Black and Janet Moll.

A bridal shower was also given for the bride April 15 in Kirkwood at the home of Nancy Hartrich. The shower was hosted by Nancy Hartrich and Linda Dosenbach of Kirkwood.

Following a honeymoon trip to the Bahamas, the new Mr. and Mrs. Garwitz will make their home in Columbia, where the bride is the information specialist for the State Historical Society of Missouri and the bridegroom is a classified agency specialist with the Columbia Tribune.
