DEXTER -- Thelbert Coleman, 83, died April 10, 2007, at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born Aug. 10, 1923, in Blytheville, Ark., son of the late Robert Clinton and Georgia Russell Coleman, he was the owner of Coleman Sheet Metal in Bloomfield and a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army.

On Dec. 4, 1941, in Dexter, he married Marjorie Lane who preceded him in death on Aug. 27, 1997.

Three brothers, Joe Coleman, Elvis Coleman and J.B. Coleman, also preceded him in death.

Survivors include: two daughters, Phyllis Dowdy and Kathy Coleman of Dexter; one brother, Alfred Coleman of Dexter; two sisters, Pauline Kamplain of Republic and Callie Tuphill of North Stonington, Conn.; and one grandson and two great-

grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Roger Wooten will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
