CANALOU -- Grady W. Fowler, 88, died Jan. 21, 2007, at his daughter's home in Matthews.
Born Feb. 24, 1918, in Eldridge, Ala., son of the late Ernest and Minnie Galney Fowler, he worked for Jimmy Sanders Farms and was of the Baptist belief.
On Sept. 25, 1943, in Piggott, Ark., he married Pearl Worley who preceded him in death on Feb. 4, 1993.
Three brothers, three sisters and one granddaughter also preceded him in death.
Survivors include: one son, Jimmy Ray Fowler of Matthews; two daughters, Alice Faye Ross and Geraldine Brewer of Matthews; one sister, Lois Kendrick of Eldridge; and seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston where services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Rodney Dunlap, pastor of First Missionary Baptist Church in Matthews, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.
