Lueanna Ergle

DEXTER -- Lueanna Ergle, 86, formerly of Sikeston, died at 1:05 p.m. Jan. 25, 2008, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Dec. 4, 1921, in Double Springs, Ala., to the late James and Ethel Curtis Cagle, she was a housewife and of the Baptist faith.

On July 6, 1941, in Double Springs, she married Noah Lee Ergle, who preceded her in death on Aug. 12, 2000.

Survivors include: three sons, Wayne and Betty Ergle of Bernie, James Ergle and Abby Herring of Parma and Rexell and Sherry Ergle of New Madrid; two daughters and a son-in-law, Annie and Clinton Daniels of Sikeston and Maxine Holland of Dexter; two sisters, Cora Lee Godsey and Minnie Wakefield of Double Springs; and 24 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 23 great-great-

grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, one sister and two grandchildren.

Services were conducted today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Robert Holland, pastor of the Mt. Zion Walker General Baptist Church in Bloomfield, officiated.

Burial followed in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.

Pallbearers were: Jay Sanders, Jeff Sanders, Tom Lisenby, Scott Chestnut, Tommy Freeman and Darell Holland.
