BENTON -- Dale Rogers, 71, died at 3:35 a.m. March 2, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born Aug. 18, 1935, in Lincoln, Ark., son of the late Benjamin Franklin and Minnie Maye Leverett Rogers, he was employed as a salesman/repairman at the 76 Truck Stop in Matthews and lived in Scott City before moving to Benton 25 years ago.
On Nov. 10, 1954, at Belleville, Ill., he married Lula Belle O'Guinn who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: four sons, William Dale Rogers of Ellensburg, Wash., Rondall Lee Rogers of Benton, Jeffrey Wade Rogers of Jefferson City and Gary DeWayne Rogers of Jacksonville, Fla.; two daughters, Tracy Lynn Jackson of Benton and Melissa Ann Gramlisch of Randalls; and one sister, Loyries Rogers of Pigeon Fork, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by six brothers and one sister in addition to his parents.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating.
