SCOTT CITY -- Huey Bernard Daniel, 76, died at 10 p.m. Jan. 29, 2008, at his home.
Born Aug. 27, 1931, in Summerdale, Ala., son of the late William Abel and Zuma Mae Burns Daniel, he was a truck driver for ABF Freight, retiring in 1992. A member of Commerce Baptist Church, he was also a member of the Masonic Lodge 184 AF&AM in Morley and Men's Seekers Class of Lynwood Baptist Church.
On June 1, 1953, in Winter Haven, Fla., he married Barbara Nell Traylor who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, David Daniel of Scott City; two daughters, Rebecca Ledbetter of Cape Girardeau and Cynthia Milam of Benton; one sister, Elizabeth Daniel of Winter Haven; and six grandchildren and seven great-
Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Visitation is scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City with a Masonic service at 7 p.m.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Commerce Baptist Church with the Rev. David Thompson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oakdale Cemetery in Commerce.
