Born Jan. 4, 1935, in Sikeston, son of the late Thomas Jackson and Ida Mae Thompson Heath, she was an assembly worker for Anchor Toy and National Lock and a member of Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.
On Feb. 8, 1952, in Sikeston, she married John W. "Jack" Groesbeck, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, John M. and Lisa Groesbeck of Sikeston; one daughter, Sandra K. Russell of the home; one brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Carole Heath of Moline, Ill.; one sister, Jackie Blancett of Tampa, Fla.; two grandchildren, Christopher M. Russell and Lori L. Bryan, both of Sikeston; and five great-grandchildren, Gaige Russell, Cain Russell, Cobe Russell, Cameran Russell and Kaylea Bryan, all of Sikeston.
In addition to her parents, two sisters preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Blanchard Funeral Chapel, where services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. John Tarter, pastor of Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Garden of Memories at Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be: Shawn Clinton, Randy Gaines, Derek Vaught, Brad Vaught, John Russell and Dean Russell.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Max Tucker, Sonny Stover, Norman Jones, Charles Miller and Mike Tucker.
