Born March 10, 1930, in Hayti, to the late James Parker and Blanche Hughlett Bracy, she was a member of First Baptist Church in Sikeston. She had worked at Brown Shoe Company and had been a teacher's aide at Sikeston Kindergarten and sixth grade.
On June 19, 1948, in Pocahontas, Ark., she married W.H. "Dub" Perrin, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca Lynn and Randy Couch of Sikeston; and one granddaughter, Caitlyn Couch of Sikeston.
One sister, Virginia Walker; and three brothers preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Dr. Rick Ramsey, pastor of First Baptist Church, will officiate. He will be assisted by the Rev. Kelley Grubbs, pastor of Murray Lane Baptist Church and the Rev. Bob Medlock, a Baptist minister.
Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be: Dolan Rogers, Charles Parks, Randol Couch, Charles Chaney, Bob Boyer and Bill Hicks.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Lewis Phillips, Hubert Allred and Gail Schamel.
