DEXTER -- Faithful Charity Strickland, 80, formerly of St. Louis and Dallas, died March 5, 2007, at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield.

Born Feb. 22, 1927, in Manila, Ark., to the late Loyed and Elsie Louviny Emiline Brooks Hornbuckle, she had worked as a waitress and fry cook and was a member of the Pentecostal Church.

She was first married to John Logan Wilkerson who preceded her in death. She then married James Strickland who also preceded her in death.

Also preceded her in death were one daughter, Gail Emiline Wilkerson; two brothers, Wilyen D. Hornbuckle and Williard Thomas Hornbuckle; and four sisters, Tillie Hornbuckle, Zella Mae Davenport, Zelphia Wilson and Ruthie Pauline Eubanks.

Survivors include: two sons, Lloyd Gilbert Wilkerson of Midland, Mich., and Joe Carlton Wilkerson of Gilmer, Texas; two daughters, Myrtle Cleatta Velazquez of Dallas and Flora Oleatha Sue Worthern of St. Louis; two brothers, Wilburn D. "Mike" Hornbuckle of Brownwood and Willie Carlton "Pete" Hornbuckle of Grassy; one sister, Grace Lee Robinson of Dexter; and 10 grandchildren and 13 great-

grandchildren.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. until noon on Thursday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. Graveside services will follow at 1 p.m. in the New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, Ark. Pete Hornbuckle of Grassy will officiate.
