WYATT - Evelyn Wilson, 82, died at 7:15 p.m. April 6, 2007, at Charleston Manor.
Born April 2, 1925, in Mayfield, Ky., to the late Robert and Georgia Copeland Rodgers, she lived most of her life in Wyatt where she attended the Pentecostal Holiness Church.
In 1942, she married Lawrence Wilson, who preceded her in death in 1968.
Also preceding her in death were: one daughter, Rebecca Wilson; three brothers, Leon Rodgers, Johnny Rodgers and Frankie Rodgers; and two sisters, Martha Jean Higgens and Teresa Lynch.
Survivors include: two daughters, Virginia Black of Cameron and Sharron Wicker of Wyatt; one brother, Albert Rodgers of Columbia; four grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Jerry Bone.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. Monday until time of services at 1 p.m. Monday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Bill Bradley, minister of the Church of Christ in Morley, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Dale Ross, John L. Wicker, Joey Cross, Joseph Cross, James Williams and Tim Williams.
