GRANITE CITY, Ill. - Edna Mae Ryan, 82, died at 11:20 a.m. April 5, 2007, at Stearns Nursing Home in Granite City.
Born Aug. 23, 1924, in Campbell, Mo., to the late Benjamin Franklin and Linda Mae Blevins Sanders, she had been a bookkeeper for Penske Trucking Company.
On Oct. 12, 1946, in New Madrid, Mo., she married Jack James who preceded her in death. On Nov. 29, 1975, in Chicago, she married Harold Ryan and he preceded her in death.
One brother and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: three daughters, Linda James Harrison of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Patricia James Smith of Genoa and Barbara James McCoy of Granite City; one brother, Edward Sanders of Sikeston, Mo.; six grandchildren, Kevin Taber of Exeter, Gary Taber of Blodgett, Kieth Thompson of Agency, Iowa, Yolanda Pearman and Joseph McCoy of Granite City and Melissa Schwichtenberg of Genoa; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Barry Pfanstiel, pastor of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Kevin Taber, Gary Taber, Kieth Thompson, Greg Thompson, Joseph McCoy and Ronnie Warren.
