Edward Bunting

RISCO -- Edward Lee Bunting, 80, died March 12, 2007, at his home.

Born Aug. 3, 1926, at Kennett, son of the late Alva John and Gertie E. Crawford Bunting, he was a farmer and horse trainer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in World War II, and of the Baptist belief.

On Nov. 8, 1944, at Piggott, Ark., he married Marjorie E. Williams who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Rick Bunting and John Bunting of Risco; one daughter, Marilynn Smelser of Risco; three brother, General Al Bunting of Burlingame, Kan., Bill Jackson of Larned, Kan., and Paul Jackson of Wichita, Kan.; three sisters Lois Crawford of Batesville, Ark., Beverly Stracener of Kennett and Arlene Adams of Shelly, Idaho; and eight grandchildren and 12 great-

grandchildren.

One brother, Ben Jackson; and one sister, Lottie Yarbro, preceded him in death.

Visitation is at 6 p.m. today at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Mark Powell will officiate.

Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.
