DEXTER -- Robert Wayne "Bob" McCarver, 90, died March 30, 2007, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.
Born Nov. 9, 1916, in Malden, son of the late Evan and Clara Nance McCarver, he had lived in Dexter since 1948 and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. He was a retired mechanics instructor with Mingo Job Corps.
On Oct. 9, 1939, in Malden, he married Marjorie Sandefur who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Hoy Heise of Brookfield, Conn.; one brother, Evan McCarver Jr. of Lake Wales, Fla.; one sister, Elizabeth Davis of Malden; and two grandsons and two great-grandchildren.
One brother, Everett McCarver; and one sister, Virginia Hogg, also preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church in Dexter with the Rev. Tom Bass of Cape Girardeau and Steve Moody of Dexter officiating.
Private burial will be in the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton.
