NEW HAMBURG - Joseph A. "Joe" Heisserer, 67, died at 1:05 p.m. Dec. 27, 2006, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born Sept. 20, 1939, at Kelso, to the late Joseph Phillip and Coletta L. Glastetter Heisserer, he was a self-employed mechanic and a farmer. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg and St. Joseph Sodality.
On Oct. 1, 1960, he married Clare Bucher, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Kenric Heisserer of Old Appleton; three daughters, Diane Hinkebein of Jackson, Dona Heisserer of Cape Girardeau and Deana Myer of Fruitland; three brothers, Elmer Heisserer and Ralph Heisserer of New Hamburg and Tom Heisserer of Jackson; four sisters, Dorothy Menz of New Hamburg, Anna Bollinger of Scott City, Helen Cleary of Midwest City, Okla. and Kathy Boesch of Mariton, N.J.; and five grandchildren and three great-
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today with parish prayers at 6:30 p.m. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg. The Rev. Normand Varone will officiate.
Pallbearers will be: Kenric Heisserer, Dennis Heisserer, Dave Myer, Terry Menz, Michael Bucher and Eric Hinkebein.
