Born Aug. 22, 1923, in Ardeola, daughter of the late Richard Alvin and Katherine E. Meinz Keating, she was a member of the Concordia Lutheran Church in Sikeston and a retired secretary for the U.S. Civil Service.
On June 27, 1964, in Dexter, she married Norwin Samples who preceded her in death on Feb. 23, 1982.
Two sisters, Grace Garland and Bessie Davisson, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Norma Hargrove of Dexter; one granddaughter, Kimberly D. Jones of Dexter; one step-
grandson, Stan Autrey of the state of Tennessee; and four great-
grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday. The Revs. A.J. Woolenburg and Danny Collins will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Walker Cemetery at Bloomfield.
