POPLAR BLUFF -- Haylee Elizabethanne Jolliff and Joey Todd Githens were united in marriage during a 5:30 p.m. ceremony April 23, 2007, before family and friends on the beach in Cancun, Mexico.
Parents of the bride are Perry and Pam Jolliff of Dexter, and parents of the bridegroom are Jay and Terry Githens of Poplar Bluff.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Maid of honor was Daniell Palmer of Dexter, friend of the bride; matron of honor was Lea Ann Clark of Dexter, aunt of the bride. Amy Githens of Atlanta, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, served as a bridesmaid.
Jason Githens of Seattle served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Jeff Githens of Atlanta, brother of the bridegroom, and Seann Howe of Poplar Bluff, friend of the bridegroom.
Following a honeymoon in Cancun, the new Mr. and Mrs. Githens are making their home in Poplar Bluff.
The couple will celebrate their union at 6 p.m. May 19 at The Bloodworth House, 626 Cynthia St., in Poplar Bluff.
