WATERLOO, Ill. -- Thelma Marie Gee, 98, formerly of Parma, Mo., died May 8, 2007, at the Canterbury Manor Nursing Home in Waterloo.
Born May 4, 1909, at Ithaca, Mich., to the late Louis Edward and Ella Merten Geisenhauer, she lived most her life in Parma before moving to Waterloo several years ago. She was a member of the Parma United Methodist Church.
On Sept. 22, 1928, in Flint, Mich., she married Lonie Otho Gee who preceded her in death on March 28, 1990.
Also preceding her in death were six brothers, Frank Geisenhauer, Clarence Geisenhauer, Harold Geisenhauer, Nicholas Geisenhauer, Rollen Geisenhauer and Melvin Geisenhauer; and one sister, Edna Thompson.
Survivors include: four daughters, Maxine Mable Schmidt of Columbia, Ill., Vanita Thelma Ryon Duckworth of Risco, Mo., Lola Linda Walley of Bagdad, Ariz., and Beverly Ann Walter of Fairfield, Ill.; one sister, Erva Ella Hardy of St. Clair Shores, Mich.; and 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Parma United Methodist Church. The Rev. Bill Reid of Lilbourn will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Parma Cemetery.
