DEXTER - Edna Mae Hellmann, 85, formerly of St. Louis, died Feb. 6, 2007, at the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.
Born Dec. 4, 1921, near Idalia, daughter of the late Samuel A. and Myrtie Mae Lincoln Harper, she had lived most of her life in St. Louis where she had worked at the Lincoln Pentair Company. She returned to Dexter in 1989.
On Feb. 21, 1948, in St. Louis, she married Marvin G. Hellmann who preceded her in death on Nov. 6, 1988.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Marvin E. Hellmann, on Oct. 30, 1980; one brother, John Harper; and three sisters, Madge Eaton, Mildred Hutchison and Blanche Avery.
Survivors include: four sisters, Hattie Nottingham of St. Charles, Syble Lawrence of Dexter, Bessie Morlan of Bloomfield and Marion Atkins of Pelham, Ala.; and one grandson, Morgan E. Hellmann of Cape Girardeau.
Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at 11:45 a.m. Friday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter. The Rev. Mike Watkins will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield.
