Born Dec. 29, 1925, in Riverside, Calif., daughter of the late Raymond and Florence Barker Emerson Sr., she was a machine operator for 13 years at Sports Specialty Shoe Co. in Chaffee and worked 11 years at Burch Foods in Sikeston. She was a member of Morley Baptist Church.
On Oct. 26, 1942, she married Fearl U. Isaacs who preceded her in death on April 3, 1997.
One brother, Raymond Emerson Jr.; and one sister, Anita Freed, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: three sons, Larry Isaacs of Cape Girardeau, Terry Isaacs of Morley and Rick Isaacs of Sikeston; one daughter, Carol Bumgardaner of Perkins; two brothers, Kenneth Emerson of Advance and Ray Gene Emerson of Morley; two sisters, Debbie Scaggs of Poplar Bluff and Becky Rodgers of Morley; and nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Morley Baptist Church with the Rev. Rodney Davis officiating.
Burial will follow in the New Morley Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren: Scott Bumgardaner, Chris Bumgardaner, Stephen Isaacs, Brandon Isaacs, Matt Isaacs, Jason Isaacs, Tracy Pettit, Rachel Isaacs and Amanda Isaacs.
