Genevieve Doza

FESTUS -- Genevieve E. Doza, 90, died March 23, 2007, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Feb. 11, 1917, in Hazel Run, daughter of the late Eugene and Izie Lester Barbey, she was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church of Festus-Crystal City.

She married Harry Joseph Doza who preceded her in death.

Survivors include: one son, Kenneth R. Doza of Festus; two daughters and sons-

in-law, Brenda and Edward Patterson of Portageville and Janet and Bryan Albaugh of Fulton; one stepson, Ronald Doza of St. Marys; one sister-in-law, Lorelei Barbey; and seven grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 11 great-

great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter-in-law, Naomi Doza; three sisters, Aline Reed, Verna Parke and Beatrice Pinkston; four brothers, Paul Barbey, Ernest Barbey, Eugene Barbey and Earl Barbey; and one grandchild, John Albaugh.

Services were held March 27 at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus with the Rev. Bob Kespelher officiating.

Burial was in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
