NEW MADRID -- Mary Frances Gaskins Armer, 64, formerly of Pemiscot County, died Jan. 13, 2007, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Aug. 23, 1942, in the Ingram Ridge community in Pemiscot County, daughter of the late William Sherman "Bud" and Gertie Bell Self Gaskins, she was a member of the First General Baptist Church at New Madrid.
On April 7, 1958, at Hayti, she married Charles A. Armer who preceded her in death on Jan. 26, 2001.
Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Buddy Gaskins and Troy "Scrap" Gaskins, and three sisters, Louise Printy, Ellen Petty and Mildred VanVickle.
Survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Charlene and Jon Hammock of New Madrid and Gail and Benjamin Risner of Sikeston; one son, Gene Armer of New Madrid and his fiancee, Peggy; her twin brother, Muriel Gaskins of Portageville; a niece and nephew with whom she was raised, Betty Ergel of Bernie and Roger Gaskins of Sikeston; and 11 grandchildren and 13 great-
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at the John W. German Funeral Home in Hayti with William Henry and Kevin Baker officiating.
Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti.
Pallbearers will be: Tim Massey, Robert Lewis, Hank Hill, Joe Gorman, Randy Franks and Randall Franks.
Honorary pallbearer will be Brian Gaskins.
