SIKESTON -- Lola M. Adcock, 79, died July 14, 2006, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born June 30, 1927, in Sikeston, daughter of the late Otto and Bertha Wagoner Rettig, she was a member of the Illinois Avenue General Baptist Church and had been supervisor of the alterations department for Famous-

Barr in Collinsville, Ill., and Cape Girardeau before retiring.

On Sept. 4, 1944, she married William Adcock who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Gary Adcock of Cape Girardeau and John Adcock of Jacksonville, Ill.; two brothers Laverne Rettig and Harold Rettig of Sikeston; three sisters, Willine Miller of Sikeston, Sadie James of Whitehall, Ill., and Cleo Davis of Keokuk, Iowa; and three grandchildren and one great-

grandchild.

One brother, Sherman Rettig, and one sister, Dorothy Broderick, also preceded her in death in addition to her parents.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at the Ponder Funeral Home where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Gaylord Grindstaff, pastor of the Illinois Avenue General Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
